From the 1st September 2016, our subsidiary Modulr FS Limited became authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution (AEMI). You can find us on the Financial Services Register here.
So what does this actually mean? We now have permission from the FCA to issue electronic money (e-money) and provide payment services. We are proud of this new status and of this significant achievement - a huge milestone for the team.
